Wyrażenia przyimkowe - ćwiczenia

Przyimki inne w angielskim to wszystkie przyimki, które znajdują się poza kanonem oczywistych, takich jak: in, on, with, by, at, under, over, etc. Dla ułatwienie, przyimki inne w języku angielskim moglibyśmy podzielić na związkowo przyczynowe, przestrzenne oraz czasu. Wraz jednak nie wyczerpujemy tematu ponieważ ten sam przyimek może przybrać różne znaczenie w zależności od kontekstu. Na przykład:

"At"

I am at the airport. (na miejscu).

The party is at her house. (miejsce wydarzenia).

Kiedy używamy przyimków innych w angielskim

Przyimki inne w angielskim to te mniej znane i oczywiste, jak na przykład: despite, except, until, amid, towards.
